The Materials Manager Assistant is responsible in supporting the Materials Manager for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals. The Materials Manager Assistant assists in identifying the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position assists in establishing effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, and vendors. The Materials Manager Assistant further assists in identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.

Duties
Orders and maintains all medical inventories.
Assists in performing Semi- Annual Inventory accounting.
When supplies arrive at the facility, checks in all supplies per proof of delivery and purchase order, delivers all supplies to appropriate location, accounts for all back orders.
Knows and adheres to policies of the Center, and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
