Job Summary
The Operating Room Nurse, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the following surgical procedures in the following specialties: orthopedics, general, and spine.
The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
Two (2) years' experience in surgery.
Current, unrestricted TN RN license
Current BLS and ACLS required
CNOR preferred
Critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
