Main Line Health, a distinguished and recognized health system in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a board eligible/certified acute care general surgeon to join our academic community multispecialty practice Lankenau Medical Center.  The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in acute care surgery or minimally invasive surgery and will have superior surgical and clinical skills with a patient-centered care style.

Practice Opportunity:

The successful candidate should have outstanding interpersonal skills and a demonstrated expertise in minimally invasive surgery including robotics. This surgeon will hold a faculty appointment in the Lankenau Medical Center General Surgery Residency and will interface with trainees in a spectrum of surgical and medical specialties including urology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, and internal medicine. Our faculty have teaching responsibilities for students participating in surgery rotations from three medical schools which utilize our medical center as a core campus. Opportunities to attain leadership roles in undergraduate and graduate medical education are available. Lankenau Institute for Medical Research anchors our research arm; opportunities to participate in clinical trials, investigator initiated protocols, outcomes studies and basic science are available to the interested surgeon.
