As a Treatment Center RN you will provide and monitor quality patient care, in a specialty infusion environment, utilizing the nursing process. Identifies, initiates and assesses the effectiveness for known and potential problems and evaluates outcomes.
The Treatment Center RN is responsible for providing patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, evaluating and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, review of medications, allergies and interventions, including IV therapy and drug administration.
Provide care that includes: IV starts, port a cath access/care/and blood draws, PICC/midline access/care/and blood draws, premedication administration, treatments with specialized IV Therapy, monitoring patients for adverse effects of medications, and laboratory testing draws.
Initiate clinical follow through for patient care services, i.e., lab, pharmacy, referral and telephone communication
Delegate and assists co-workers with duties
Responsible for safe medication storage, daily medication returns to pharmacy, ensuring appropriate timing of medication dosing schedule based on provider orders
Responsible for maintaining required licensure and certification
Hours and days varied shifts includes some weekends and holidays

Current, unrestricted NV RN license or temporary NV RN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV RN license upon expiration of temporary NV RN license
BLS / ACLS
2+ years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting (ER, MED / SURG, Critical Care, Urgent Care), or specialty infusion clinic
Experience accessing port a caths
Excellent IV skills

Experience charting in EMR

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevadaresidents is $28.85 to $51.30.
