Hours : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday â�� 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday â�� 1 to 5 pm
Saint Vincent Hospital Ambulatory Care Clinic is a primary-care clinic for adults ages 18 and over. The clinic also serves as a training site for residents specializing in Internal Medicine under the supervision of our physician. Our clinic health team includes a dedicated Internal Medicine physician who provides a spectrum of health-care services including:
continuing care for your medical needs
preventive screening to help you stay well
follow-up after hospitalization or illness
care of minor wounds and injuries
a weekly travel clinic for vaccinations and/or medication advice
a weekly clinic for testing and treatment of infectious disease or hepatitis
a monthly psychiatry clinic
CMA is responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice. Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan.
Completes all necessary documentation in the patientâ��s medical record in accordance with practiceâ��s charting policy. Prepares equipment and assists physicians with medical treatments, exams, and medical procedures.
Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the physicians.
Per Diem, Days
High School Diploma /GED required with completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Knowledge and Skills
1 year of experience working in a physician office required
