Atlantic Heath System is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Tech primarily working 7:00AM-3:00PM & 5 days per week for the Ambulatory Surgery Center @ the Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion in Rockaway NJ.

The newly constructed Ambulatory Surgery Center @ the Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion will expand surgery services to the Rockaway area and Morris County Region! The center consists of three operating rooms, one endoscopy suite, 15 pre-operative/PACU bays, state-of-art equipment and instrumentation, and hospital grade sterilization, all designed for outpatient surgery.

Essential Job Function:

• Surgical technician capable of scrubbing in a multi specialty surgical unit.
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment while also safe guarding aseptic technique.
• Strong communicator and advocate for patient care and safety.
• Approaches task accomplishment as a team, also can independently complete projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required

License/Certifications:

• CST required
• BLS required

Relevant Experience:

• 1 year in a multi specialty surgical suite
