Ambulatory Service Representative - Occupational Therapy SUMMARY: The Ambulatory Service Representative (ASR) welcomes patients and families and performs check-in procedures in a timely, customer friendly and efficient manner in accordance with VCH guidelines. Responsible for the patients' pre and in-person registration including the accurate capture and validation of demographic and insurance information, insurance eligibility, and the collection of co-payment, deductible and other known self-pay amounts. Partners with providers to schedule new referrals and follow up appointments for patients and coordinates appointments with other departments.
