The Cape Girardeau Healthcare Center (HCC) is part of the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center (JJPVAMC) health system and provides a number of services to the Cape Girardeau, MO catchment area including: Primary Care, Ambulatory Specialty Care, Mental Health, Telehealth and Community Health/Home Care. The HCC provides healthcare services to a 5 county catchment area of more than 10,000 Veterans of which approximately 5,000 are enrolled. The Women's/Whole Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will be the primary provider of Women's Health and Whole Health services for the Cape Girardeau HCC. This position will also be responsible for the following: - Serving as a clinical leader for Women's Health at the HCC - Working in collaboration with Primary Care and HCC Leadership to ensure the highest quality of women's healthcare. - Supervising clinical education programs for women's health providers and trainees - Establishes Whole Health programs for the HCC including, but not limited to Battlefield Acupuncture, Yoga, Tai Chi, etc. and serves as the primary provider for these clinics - Works collaboratively with whole health coaches and partners, who are working with patients to identify health and well-being goals and support sustainable behavioral and lifestyle changes. - Serves as the Whole Health POC for the HCC Work Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri (Excluding Federal Holidays and Weekends) Telework: Adhoc Telework Only as Needed Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
