There is one full time opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Primary Care Clinics at the Northeast Wisconsin Ambulatory Clinic in Green Bay. The function of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) LPN is to provide quality nursing care to a culturally diverse veteran population of varying complexity in a variety of settings. The LPN possesses the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to effectively apply aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting. This broad based clinical knowledge enables the LPN to effectively implement health promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illness states, and assist veterans in the attainment of optimal levels. Preferred Experience: 2-3 years of Med/Surg experience Outstanding communication skills Excellent interpersonal relationship skills Ability to multitask Flexibility and dependability Proficient skills with VISTA, CPRS and Outlook Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday and occasional PM's or weekends may be required.
