ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated success in recruiting, leading, inspiring, developing, and motivating teams, while focusing on superior patient care.
Superior verbal and written skills, necessary to convey/discuss complex concepts with varying levels of authority.
Exceptional critical thinking with a demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, analyze, anticipate, interpret, evaluate and problem solve to provide a safe, effective, and functional environment.
Successful experience in meeting and maintaining all regulatory and compliance requirements in a surgery center setting, including state, federal, and AAAHC accreditation.
Proficiency in Quality Improvement performance and studies, Risk Management, and regulatory, compliance, and reporting.
A thorough understanding of Infection Control strategies, plans, procedures, and surveillance needs.
Knowledge of essential Human Resource functions including, but not limited to credentialing tracking and reporting, scheduling, policies and procedures, records management, work performance reviews; Peer Review evaluations; as well as promotion and disciplinary action, including termination.
Proven success in creating an outstanding patient, physician, and staff experience.
Computer and software proficiency.
The ability to assist with pre-op, post-op as needed (back up/circulator).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Current unrestricted, Indiana RN license required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of ASC experience as an RN with 2 years of administrative/management experience.
Bachelor’s in Health Administration, Business Administration or Management required. Master’s degree preferred.
BCLS required. ACLS, PALS preferred.
CASC certification preferred. Required within 2 years of employment.
Experience in a senior leadership role, in an ambulatory surgery center where more than 6,000 surgeries are performed each year.
