At M-Health Fairview Maple Grove Surgical Center experts in more than 20 medical specialties are in one convenient location. The Maple GroveAmbulatory Surgery Center is aJoint Commission certified facility that performs over 6,000 outpatient procedures/surgeries a year. Cases include Ortho, GYN, Endo, GI, Plastics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry and Urology for pediatrics to adults.
We are seeking a RN to work in the Operating Room. This is a casual position is day shifts with variable start times, currently Monday-Friday.
Position reports to Patient Care Manager
4 OR rooms.
OR Team includes; RNs, CRNAs, MDA, Surgical Techs
this is not a benefit eligble position
Assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient populations.
Resposibilites performed in accordance with all policy, procedure and professional practice guidelines.
The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Must have current MN Nursing license.
2 years RN OR experience required.
Current BLS through American Heart Association for healthcare providers. ACLS within 6 months of hire date.
If current Fairview employee, must have satisfactory performance reviews at time of hire and start date.
Excellent customer service skills, ability to work well with a team approach and display a positive attitude will be key to success in this position.
Willingness to cross train and work with a variety of surgical cases.
