The VP of Business Development is a full time position that will work to improve Revo Health’s market position, achieve financial growth, develop long-term strategic goals, build key relationships, identify business opportunities and maintain extensive knowledge of current industry market conditions. The position will also serve as the subject matter expert for the growth of the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) service line within Revo Health. The position requires extensive travel. Candidate does not need to reside in MN.
Oversee the ASC service line growth, including development of future ASCs and provide executive leadership of ASCs outside of the Minneapolis, MN market area.
Partner with physician practices, individual physicians and other industry partners in support of Revo Health’s various business unit offerings.
Ambassador for Revo Health services at conferences and trade shows.
Exploring new service offerings focused on providing value to current and future Revo Health clients.
Routine reporting to the Revo Health Board of Directors related to ongoing business development and new opportunities.
Promote existing Revo Health services to future clients
Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in healthcare, strategy, sales, business development, marketing, communications
5+ years’ experience in the ASC market area
Preferred knowledge of healthcare market and Revo Health’s position in the market
Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
Complete job required training.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Understand and execute a variety of instructions
Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
Work independently with minimal supervision
Frequent travel to other work locations and business partners
