Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The El Paso VA Health Care System is seeking two full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to care for our Veterans. We are an outpatient facility serving medical, surgical and psychiatric clinics, in addition to community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs).
You will provide anesthesia care and counseling of persons during surgical procedures based upon the process which includes systematic data gathering, assessment, appropriate judgment, and evaluation of human responses. The primary commitment is to the patient, whether an individual, family, group, or community (ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses). “Professional nursing” means the performance of an act that requires substantial specialized judgment and skill, the proper performance of which is based on knowledge and application of the principles of biological, physical, and social science as acquired by a completed course in an approved school of professional nursing.
