Staff Physiatry Opportunities in Albany, NY with Veterans Affairs
Provide PM&R care in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Work closely with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, recreational therapy, social work, psychology, rehabilitation nursing care, and audiology staff. Provide assessment of physical and functional status of Veterans in the Physical Medicine Clinics. Provide electromyography support. Faculty appointment and participation in academic activities with Albany Medical College is possible.
You will provide consultation, direction & coordination of care in all Neurology & Rehab Medicine services, ensuring the clinical quality and efficiency of care delivery. We have an electromyography program, the CARF accredited Low Vision Program and polytrauma program. Additionally we have all components of Rehab Medicine: physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, speech language pathology & audiology. Perform EMGs, inpatient/outpatient consults, brace/amputee & polytrauma/TBI care.
