Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, the Administrator –BMP Surgery Center assumes administrative responsibility for the business and clinical management of Baptist Medical Park Surgery Center, LLC. The incumbent establishes objectives and current standards of nursing practice in accordance with accrediting and/or regulating agencies. The Administrator is responsible for profitable growth within the direct departments that he/she is responsible. The Administrator defines, interprets, and implements the philosophy and objectives of surgical services.
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
Bachelors of Nursing Degree required
Three (3) years management experience required; Ambulatory Surgery Center experience required
Current RN licensure in the State of Florida
BLS through American Heart Association
PALS is required within 90 days of employment/transferKnowledge of human resource management; program development; fiscal management skills; and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards
