Supervises daily clinical operations of the surgery center and manages the clinical staff and collaborate with business office staff in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation regulations and guidelines, as well as established Princess Anne Ambulatory Surgical Center policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in preoperative, postoperative and intraoperative departments. Oversee total quality management program. Oversee purchasing of required supplies, controlled drugs, and equipment. Responsible for staff development, orientation and staff discipline and appraisals.
As the Clinical Director, you will provide overall direction and leadership of all clinical operations to ensure the highest level of care is provided to the community in a compassionate manner. Establish, implement, and evaluate quality and standards of patient care in conjunction with medical staff and clinical staff within outlined governance. In collaboration with other leadership, participate in development of strategic and operational plans for assigned clinical area to meet organizational goals. Lead by example, motivate and inspire team to provide high quality care. Provide coaching and developmental opportunities to facilitate employee’s skill acquisition, professional development, and career advancement. Encourage cooperation, teamwork and job ownership among team. Actively participate in the development and maintenance of a healthy work environment. Coordinate and manage human and material resources within budgetary allowances without compromising high quality care. Establish and oversee a system to ensure adequate supplies of controlled drugs, supplies, instrumentation, and equipment to meet the patient care needs. Oversee and participate in total quality management program including staff orientation, infection control, peer review activities, quality improvement initiatives. Ensure a safe environment of care for all patients, staff, physicians, families and vendors. Demonstrate knowledge and high professionalism with community and other organizational members. Effectively communicate and interact with patients, their family, staff, physicians and vendors.

*Current Virginia RN license *BSN preferred *Minimum three (3) years of ambulatory surgery clinical experience as a registered nurse with one (1) years of administrative/management experience. *BCLS
