POSITION PURPOSE:Â To achieve optimal utilization of Laurel Ridge's continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in designated market(s).
1.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Develop and implement viable short- and long-term business development plans aimed at meeting or exceeding budget expectations for all programs and service lines.
2.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Participates actively in recruiting, hiring, orientation and retention of Community Relations team staff.
3.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provides on-going coaching and training for Community Relations team.
4.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Monitors and evaluates performance of the Community Relations team.
5.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Develops and implements development team policies and procedures.
6.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintains referral source records and related information.
7.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Organizes and conducts development meetings.
8.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Supports CEO's overall strategic business plan.
9.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Supports hospital's financial goals and objectives.
10.Â Â Â Â Â Â The development and monthly management of the Marketing Budget to support all BD and marketing efforts.
11.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Participates in training and development activities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
12.Â Â Â Â Â Â Develops and maintains relationships within the internal and external hospital and corporate departments.
13.Â Â Â Â Â Attends Community partnerÂ meetings to maintain visibility for LRTC as well as ensure partnerships in the community.
14.Â Â Â Â Â Â Supports internal and external customer service standards.
15.Â Â Â Â Â Coordinate month end reports with others Directorâ€™s (CFO, Director of Admission; Director of Care Management, and Business Development Director of Military Services) to ensure MOR completed and submitted to CEO, COO and Corporate prior to deadline.
16.Â Â Â Â Â Develop internal processes to ensure the community Mental Health resources are utilized correctly in order to minimize the financial loss to the hospital.
17. Â Â Â Â Â Maintain relationships with competitors and community partners.
18.Â Â Â Â Â Â The identification, development and implementation of community events.
