TheÂ Front Desk ReceptionistÂ positionÂ is responsibleÂ for greeting and directing all visitors or telephone callers to the correct person or department within the hospital, carefully observing the confidentiality requirements.Â Â Duties mayÂ include:Â
1.Â Operate switchboard.
2.Â Greets and directs visitors
3.Â Assists in preparation of transportation reservations for patients.
4.Â Operates the pager system.
