Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed hospital located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are currently seeking a Business Office Manager. This position leads all business office and financial counseling staff and coordinates activities of workers engaged in calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records.Â The Business Office Director will manage the business office operations to achieve and ensure accurate, timely and consistent performance of all functions pertaining to patient accounting (including patient account maintenance, billing, and collection management), accounts receivable, and refund functions.Â Â This position will assign and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Education:Â Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
Experience:Â PreferÂ 8 years of finance, general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and collections experience.Â Minimum of 3 years management and hospital experience required.Â Strong oral, written and problem solving skills required.
Knowledge:Â Â Prefer knowledge of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payrollÂ Â and collections. Knowledge and skills working with computerized accounting systems required.Â Responsible for hands on management for all daily activities of the admitting, billing and collection functions.Â Responsible for Corporate reporting and analysis, managed care, third party reimbursement, management of accounts receivable, i.e., bad debt and cash collections.
