Wekiva Springs Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Purpose: To provide direct patient care under the direction of a Nurse Manager/ Supervisor for adults and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions, and is responsible for using the Nursing process to effectively manage the Plan of Care for each patient based on appropriate standards, policies and procedures. Management of each patient also includes appropriately and effectively delegating patient care duties to other members of the nursing team in order to assure optimal patient outcomes.
The Registered Nurse is also responsible for continuing his/her own professional development to enhance practice and the profession of Nursing. Actively participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team of the unit and performs duties as assigned.
*Updating the medical records of the IOP patients
* Admitting them to the IOP program
* Discharges IOP patients from the program
* Working with the doctors in fulfilling their orders for the IOP patients
* Updating the IOP patient's medication as prescribed by the attending physicians
