River Point Behavioral HealthÂ is an 84-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for youth, adults and seniors. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and ECT programs. Progressive professionals in the fields of psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education and activity therapy provide our comprehensive services.
We are currently seeking an Infection Control & Employee Health Nurse.Â This position is responsible for providing focused orientation and education for the Behavioral Health staff, overseeing infection control, and overseeing employee health for the hospital.Â The staff education responsibilities include assessing staff training and development needs on an on-going basis, coordinating and teaching orientation and other training programs.Â Works closely with the HR /Staff Education Coordinator to ensure completion of annual mandatory training and competency of staff, and maintain hospitalâ€™s training calendar. Â Â The employee health responsibilities include oversight of the employee health program, ensuring that the employee health files are properly maintained and conducting the annual employee health fairs.Â The infection control duties consists of role of conducting infection control rounds, identifying potential infection control issues, conducting staff education related to infection prevention, reviewing and updating Infection Control policies as needed and analyzing infection control data and making recommendations to ensure compliance with regulatory compliance.Â
