Description
St Paul Eye Clinic is seeking a Fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon
St Paul Eye Clinic is a growing, independent, private practice serving the eastern half of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area with satellite services extending into western Wisconsin. Our current complement of 20 doctors and 175 staff have been providing high quality, compassionate, state-of-the-art clinical care in our marketplace for over 50 years.
We are seeking a board certified/board eligible, fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon to add both breadth and depth to our growing vitreoretinal service. You will collaborate with our current vitreoretinal surgeon and our team of specialized ophthalmologists and optometrists to satisfy the increasing demand for vitreoretinal services in our community. Supported by well-trained scribes, our current vitreoretinal surgeon is seeing 50+ patients daily and performing 8-10 surgeries per week. Community-wide vitreoretinal surgery call is shared evenly with 6 other local vitreoretinal surgeons. St. Paul Eye Clinic’s growth is a direct result of our unwavering commitment to the communities we serve. This commitment is the reason we are adding new providers, creating additional clinic capacity in our current locations, building a second ASC, and developing new facilities in currently untapped markets. Our growth makes this an exciting time to join St. Paul Eye Clinic!
St Paul Eye Clinic has a strong culture of hiring the right individual and investing in their success. For those that choose to grow beyond the Associate and wish to pursue partnership, we promote a partnership track that includes equal ownership opportunities in the clinical practice, the optical shops, the ambulatory surgery centers, and real estate. We firmly believe that the best way to serve our patients is to remain independent—it’s where the patient-centered, entrepreneurial spirit burns best and brightest—and our strategic plan is based upon this ideal. Base compensation is excellent and includes a significant productivity-based component to ensure you are appropriately compensated for your efforts. The benefit package is equally strong and includes a generous continuing education stipend.
There’s a reason US News and World report consistently ranks Minnesota in the Top 5 of greatest states in which to live, work, and play. The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul boast unlimited cultural and recreational benefits including world-class theatre and dining, every imaginable outdoor activity, and home teams in every major professional sport. Education is an equally high priority, and we are fortunate to have several top-tier universities and colleges that compliment many nationally recognized K-12 school districts.
If you are intrigued by the opportunity to join a strong, successful, independent medical practice that knows how to balance work and life, then please consider submitting your curriculum vitae to skulstad@stpauleye.com.
