- Vitreoretinal Surgeon Sought for Premier Retina Only Practice of 50+ Years

The Retina Institute of St. Louis (TRI) is seeking a BC/BE Vitreoretinal Surgeon. TRI provides the full spectrum of retinal care and enjoys a world-class reputation built over the past 50 years. Today, there are nine fully staffed/equipped offices located in and around the greater metropolitan area of St. Louis. Travel to satellite offices will be required at least once weekly. All surgery is done locally in hospital-based and ambulatory surgery centers.
Patient care is our top priority and requires excellent communication skills, cultivation of referring doctor relationships, adherence to compliance measures, promotion of an atmosphere of unity and collaboration, and maintenance of the highest ethical standards. The applicant must be willing to contribute to the educational component of an academically-inclined private practice. TRI maintains a 2-year AUPO certified fellowship program that is also a primary focus of our practice. Two to three fellows are accepted each year through SF Match and the new associate is expected to be fully engaged with their training through participation in conferences, as well as mentorship in the clinics, operating room, and research. In addition, TRI hosts two annual meetings for the regional eye care community.
