Surgical Retina Specialist

Our thriving, physician-owned practice located in stunning Central Oregon is looking to add a fellowship trained, board certified/eligible, surgical retinal specialist to our practice. Orion Eye Center is a 6 provider, MD only, multi-specialty practice inclusive of cataract, cornea, glaucoma, medical retina, and surgical retina. This is a unique opportunity to join two busy retinal surgeons and the only clinic offering surgical retina within a three-hour radius. Our physicians enjoy close collaboration with the MDs and ODs in the region and have an exceptional, long-established referral base.

Orion Eye Center is the only practice in Central Oregon that has its own ophthalmic-only ambulatory surgery center. We are an efficient, high-volume clinic that uses state-of-the art imaging and technology to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Our ASC can accommodate same-day urgent add-ons (from minor procedures to complex vitrectomies and scleral buckles) and is staffed with outstanding, compassionate, highly trained personnel.

Located East of the Cascade Mountain range, Bend boasts a variety of year-round outdoor recreation in a city of about 100,000 people. Central Oregon’s high desert climate is mild and dry. In fact, Bend is the sunniest city in the state! A stone’s throw away is an endless array of recreational activities including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, camping, golf, exploring alpine lakes and skiing at the famous Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. Bend has consistently ranked in the top 100 places to live in the US and has been named the outdoor playground of the West. Excellent restaurants abound here as well but the city is only 3 hours away should an urban outing call you from this recreational paradise.
