Position: Orthopedic Surgeon - Trauma, HSS + Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH)
Location: Naples, Florida
Available Start Date: Immediately
The Trauma Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) seeks to add a fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to the new collaboration with Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH), in Naples, Florida. The incoming surgeon will have direct access to a diverse trauma patient population across the region. Practicing primarily at NCH North Naples Hospital and the HSS at NCH Musculoskeletal Center, creating a broad range of trauma exposure. This structure offers consistent exposure to high-acuity trauma cases while also maintaining opportunities for elective orthopedic surgery. The physician will be a member of the medical staff at NCH and will work closely with the HSS Trauma service through this collaboration.

In addition, this role offers the surgeon the opportunity to practice in a high-demand market with access to a diverse trauma population, grow an academic and clinical presence as part of the HSS at NCH faculty, and collaborate closely with the HSS Trauma Service in shaping the future of orthopedic trauma care in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive operative and non-operative trauma care, ensuring timely management of fracture and trauma cases.
- Participate in call coverage across NCH facilities, supporting access, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
- Maintain an active clinical practice, with appropriate use of hospital and ASC settings.
- Opportunity to engage in clinical research, outcomes studies, and academic collaboration with HSS colleagues.
- Assist in developing Trauma Service call schedules, protocols, and program development.
- Represent the Trauma Service in community outreach and hospital initiatives, supporting HSS at NCH’s vision as a destination for musculoskeletal care.

NCH Overview
NCH is an independent, locally governed non-profit health system. The healthcare system is comprised of two hospitals, an alliance of 700+ physicians, and medical facilities in dozens of locations throughout Southwest Florida that offer nationally recognized, quality health care. The newly built comprehensive musculoskeletal center, named HSS at NCH, is on the campus of the North Naples Hospital. The facility is more than 100,000 square feet and is a destination for comprehensive outpatient and inpatient musculoskeletal services, including a jointly owned and operated ambulatory surgery center, clinics, imaging, inpatient unit, and rehabilitation services. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD required
- Current Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of a Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
- Eligible for unrestricted medical license in the State of Florida
