The Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine/Boston Medical Center is seeking a full-time Ophthalmologist specializing in Glaucoma at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and diverse faculty representing all subspecialty areas. Applicants must have a commitment to outstanding clinical care, education, and research. Our mission is to provide “exceptional care without exception� to a diverse patient population in Boston, as well as in several suburban satellite offices. We offer state-of-the-art equipment, an ambulatory surgery center, and newly renovated clinics.
Candidates must have completed an approved residency training program in ophthalmology, an approved fellowship in glaucoma and be board certified or board eligible. Prior experience in an academic health-care setting is desirable although not required. Salary and rank will be determined according to experience. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
