Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant - Illinois, 3-4 Weeks Per Month

Cardiothoracic Surgery locums opportunity in Illinois with weekday blocks and optional call.

Highlights

• 3-4 weeks/month; steady weekday blocks

• Join an established CT surgery team with 5 APPs

Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery service only; no clinic
• Collaborative team includes CV supervisor, RN, and APPs
• EPIC EMR system in use

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Optional weeknight and weekend call (TBD)
• Consistent coverage preferred, with flexible timing

Cases and Procedures

• First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO
• EVH preferred but not required
• Rounding, pre-op, and post-op patient care

Requirements

• Certified PA with active Illinois license
• ACLS required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage included
• All travel pre-approved prior to booking
