- AEGD Clinic Director
Description
The Opportunity
The Austin Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) is seeking a Clinic Director for its Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program as it transitions from planning to implementation.
This role is intended for a clinician-educator who values thoughtful program leadership and is interested in shaping a modern AEGD grounded in comprehensive care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong educational culture.
Many academic careers require a choice between tradition and innovation.AIDM was designed to integrate both.
As a Dental Knowledge Enterprise, AIDM brings together the structure of an academic institution with the flexibility of a contemporary clinical environment.

The Clinic Director will join the leadership team of a purposefully designed AEGD program with established curriculum, clinical workflows, and faculty structure. The focus of the role is on implementation, refinement, and stewardship.

Educational Model
The program follows a Lead Clinician Model, emphasizing continuity of care, resident responsibility, and collaboration with board-certified specialists in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.
Technology
Residents will be trained using contemporary digital tools—including AI-assisted diagnostics, digital workflows, 3D printing, and cloud-based systems—integrated to support sound clinical judgment and efficient care delivery.
