ORGANIZATIONAL LOCATION: This position is located in the Sisseton IHS Service Unit in the Great Plains Area. The nurse provides the primary functions of an RN assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients of all ages with medical, surgical, psychiatric, ambulatory and emergency conditions during his/her shift. The nurse is responsible for meeting established Standards of Nursing Practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment on the unit, and for promoting team work with primary care providers, personnel of other departments.
