BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults.Â BHC Alhambra Hospital is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment options for the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. The Health Information Management Clerk is responsible for filing patient records, assembles charts, checks for deficiencies, copies, answers correspondence and performs other Health Information Management functions as assigned.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assembles discharged patient charts as per established department procedures.
Analyzes discharge patient charts as per established department procedures.
Retrieves charts for physician/clinician completion.
Assists in responding to requests for release of medical records and copying charts and portions of charts as directed by supervisor.
Files incomplete/ complete medical records.
Files loose reports in records as they are delivered to the department.
