This is not your typical Nurse Administrator position. Trusted Care Surgery Centers provide all of Administrators with corporate support on a daily basis. We assist you with day-to-day responsibilities such as recruiting, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable, Credentialing/Privileging, etc., so more of your time is focused on providing the best quality patient care.
The Director of Nursing/Nurse Administrator is the senior manager of the Pomona Surgery Center. The primary responsibilities of this position includes planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating of the activities for the clinical and business operations of the facility; and acting as liaison between the Board of Managers, Medical Director and employees of the facility.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Responsible for oversight of all aspects of facility’s clinical and business operations which includes licensing and accreditation, patient care, scheduling, risk management, and materials management -Provides leadership to a team of clinical and business professionals, focused on clinical quality outcomes, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, volume growth drivers and revenue cycle optimization. -Promotes an environment of service excellence for patients and physicians. -Maintains center operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting body standards at all times. -Fosters positive relationships with physician partners and medical staff members. -Monitors and advises the Board of Managers and Medical Director of market trends impacting the clinical and financial performance of the facility. -Willing to tackle other functions as assigned.
*Must be a Registered Nurse. It is preferred that the Director of Nursing/Nurse Administrator have a Bachelor degree and/or an advanced degree (MBA/MHA/MSN). A minimum of two years experience in Ambulatory Surgical services preferred and previous experience in hospital/ambulatory supervisor or administrative management position is required. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team; have the ability to analyze reports, determine priorities, and plan strategies.
