The Senior Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Analyst updates, analyzes and maintains the Contract Management System and the PRM (Payer Responsibility Masterfile). This position also provides leadership and guidance to the Reimbursement team, other UHS employees, facilities and CBOs on contract, payer or regulatory changes and/or enhancements.
Essential Job Duties
Updates, analyzes and maintains Contract Management and the Payer Responsibility Masterfile
Performs quality reviews on all updates of reimbursement methods for all payers in accordance with set standards and monitors quality reviews that are completed by the team
Manages daily workflow thru UHS Incident Ticketing System for the reimbursement team
Produces, coordinates and monitors reimbursement variance reports for all facilities to identify trends, educational needs, payer issues, AR and/or workflow problems and potential system issues. Ensures the team members complete them timely and accurately
Completes the contract calendar that provides formal notification used to identify contract changes and potential updates which allow the most up-to-date reimbursement to be loaded in the system
