This position serves as the Acute Division subject matter expert (SME) on clinical issues in physician practice. Works with Market Directors, Regional Director of Operations, COO, Hospital and Regional Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) to develop, roll out, and monitor clinical best practice care, including competency development and monitoring for clinical staff in the office setting.
Essential Job Duties
Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and implementation of Quality Management policies and physician practice guidelines
Develops process to disseminate and monitor adherence to quality practices, including regulatory compliance, patient safety, risk management, infection control, and patient experience
Provides leadership, consultation, and strategic planning for quality and patient safety program and related efforts
Serves as central resource to operational leaders for development and implementation of efficient, effective, timely, patient-centered strategies
Collaborates with CMOs on monitoring adherence to hospital based, contracted provider quality metrics
