What we are looking for: FRN is currently seeking a dynamic and talented leader to direct the day-to-day activities of the Business Office functions throughout the Addictions Division. This critical role will be responsible for the development and administration of policies related to patient admission, registration, patient billing and collection, third-party payer relations, and preparation of insurance claims. This position will be located in Nashville, TN. Key Responsibilities include: - Manages and coordinates the revenue cycle, including facility processes that maximize cash collections and minimize bad debts.
- Coordinates and assists facilities with payer related issues, including appeals and single case agreements.
- Implements and trains best practices for maintaining the patient accounting system at Division Office and facility locations. Updates and enforces standard policies and procedures across locations from intake to discharge.
- Manage insurance contracts and maintain relationships with insurance account representatives.
- Hires and manages Business Office team members including matrix management of the facility Business Office managers (in cooperation with facility CEO's), including performance and accountability processes for compliance with standard CBO policies and procedures.
- Monitor for and implement changes in coding requirements to ensure compliance with regulators and payers.
