The PCS performs routine patient care duties under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse. Key responsibilities include: Assists with patient admissions, discharges and transfers. Continuously observes patients' behavior, mental status, activities and notifies the RN of any changes or unusual occurrences. Assists patients with activities of daily living. Participates in the implementation of the patient's individualized plan of care. Treats all patients and staff with dignity and respect in a consistent manner.
