Please visit our website for additional program details: http://www.springmountainsahara.com/about.htm We are seeking an experienced Clinician for our Outpatient Programs.(LCSW or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Doctorate level.) This position: Will direct the clinical development and business model of the Outpatient Department. Primary daily responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living and communication with referral sources and families, works closely with inpatient programs, hospital discharge planners, marketing and AR to communicate referral sources. Develops, organizes and implements clinical and program activities; directs the implementation and ensures compliance with JCAHO and other related agencies and standards which promote optimum health care delivery. Responsible for participating in performance improvement activities, addressing deficits, identifying new problem areas and developing plans of action. Position Requirements: LCSW or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Doctorate level. Must be licensed in the State of Nevada. Five years' experience working with children, adolescents and adults, preferably in a hospital outpatient setting. Must have knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of psychiatric treatment, standards and requirements of all hospital agencies. Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations, and Policy & Procedures. Knowledge of group therapy theory and practice, group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age specific growth and development, addictions issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management and aggressive behaviors and CPR training. Experience in developing, managing and marketing outpatient programs, specifically Intensive Outpatient Services.
