Provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department. Assist in overall functionality of the office.
Essential Job Functions
Provides excellent customer service. Answers general questions about employee benefits, organization policies and programs, hospital resources and documents when applicable.
Provides assistance to the department by fulfilling requests and tasks given by department personnel, assists with projects.
Enters all necessary data into the Human Resource Information System. Communicates and follows up with managerial staff if needed.
Creates new hire folders, maintains personnel files by filing all necessary documents, and reports all new hire information to the state.
Orders new hire background verifications and verifies information for new hire eligibility. Prints, files, and audits background information.
Reconciles and monitors billing, pulls coordinating data queries, and submits check requests to Accounts Payable.
Manages the tuition reimbursement program.
Manages the referral bonus program.
Provides employment verification information within policy guidelines.
Submits unemployment claims.
Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
Customer service skills
Excellent verbal, writing and proofreading skills
Ability to multitask under minimal supervision
Proficiency in Kronos and Microsoft Office applications
Type at a speed of 70 wpm.
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
