Manager Clinic, RN – Ambulatory Surgery Center
In this role, you will plan, direct, implement, and supervise clinical service activities in the ambulatory clinic and ambulatory surgery center (ASC). You will supervise assigned staff and serve as a liaison between nursing service, administrative, support staff, and physicians. In addition, you will ensure efficient, effective operations and assume the patient advocate role as needed.
At least five years of experience in health care administration, nursing, or other related experience
At least two years of supervisory experience; supervisory experience in a health care setting preferred
Ambulatory Surgery Center clinical or management experience preferred
Short and long-range planning experience
A bachelor’s degree in nursing or four years of experience in a directly related field; a master’s degree is preferred
Post high school coursework in business management preferred
A valid Hawaii RN license
A current BLS Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional/Rescuer certification
ACLS certification preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, conflict resolution, customer service, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, team building, teamwork, and written communication
